Why study medicine or dental medicine in English in Italy?

Studying medicine or dental medicine in Italy offers a unique opportunity for international students to earn a high-quality medical degree in English, all while benefiting from lower tuition fees compared to many other countries. Italian universities provide top-tier education at affordable rates, making it possible to pursue a world-class medical degree without the burden of overwhelming debt. This makes Italy an attractive option for students from around the world who seek both excellence and affordability in their medical studies.

One of the most significant advantages of studying medicine in Italy is the admissions process, which is simplified and accessible. Admission to medical schools in Italy for international students is based solely on the IMAT (International Medical Admissions Test). This is a standardized exam testing students’ knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and critical thinking skills. Unlike many other countries, Italy does not require high school grades for admission—only the IMAT score matters. This levels the playing field and provides an opportunity for students to compete based on their test performance rather than past academic records.

Online application support: We understand that applying to medical programs abroad can be overwhelming, so our team handles the entire registration process for our clients, managing every detail to ensure a smooth and stress-free application. We guide our clients through each step, from documentation to submission, helping to avoid common pitfalls and missed deadlines.

To maximize our clients’ chances of success, we also offer an intensive IMAT preparation course tailored specifically to this challenging exam. Our preparation course covers the full IMAT syllabus and is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel. Taught by experienced instructors with university degrees, our course is delivered online in an interactive, real-time format, allowing students to ask questions, receive feedback, and fully engage with the material. This course is an invaluable resource for students who are serious about gaining admission to medical schools in Italy and want to ensure they are fully prepared.

With affordable tuition, an accessible admissions process, and full support from our team, studying medicine in Italy is an excellent option for aspiring doctors worldwide. Let us help you take the first step toward your medical career!

We offer two specialized IMAT preparation courses, both aligned with the exam date in September 2025: an intensive 3-month course with 300 hours and an extensive 6-month course with 500 hours. Both courses conclude in mid-September 2025, ensuring that test-takers are fully prepared when they sit for the IMAT.

A 3 or 6-month online, interactive IMAT preparation course with real teachers is far more beneficial than just practicing previous questions and answers. The IMAT is a highly complex exam that covers multiple subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and General Knowledge. Each year, new questions are introduced, and the format may change, making it essential to have a deep understanding of all these topics, not just a surface-level familiarity with past exams.

A comprehensive course helps students build a solid foundation in all the subjects tested, ensuring they are well-prepared for any type of question. It also provides expert guidance, allowing students to clarify doubts, learn problem-solving strategies, and understand complex concepts in depth. By learning from qualified teachers in an interactive format, students can engage in real-time discussions, get personalized feedback, and improve their problem-solving skills — something that practice quizzes alone cannot offer. This thorough preparation increases the chances of success on the exam, especially in a test as competitive and unpredictable as the IMAT.

Our IMAT courses offer several key advantages to ensure comprehensive preparation. The courses are conducted live, allowing interactive learning with real teachers who hold university degrees and bring expertise to each subject. The curriculum combines theoretical study with practical exercises, including quizzes and test simulations conducted in real-time. This balanced approach helps solidify core concepts while familiarizing students with the exam format, timing, and question types, giving them confidence and readiness for the IMAT.

One major advantage of our IMAT courses is that students can ask teachers questions at the end of each lesson, requesting clarification on any topics they didn’t fully understand. Additionally, all lessons are recorded and sent to students at the end of each course day. This way, if someone is unable to attend a lesson for any reason, they can watch the recorded session and stay on track.

The reduced rate of just €6.40 per hour for our live, interactive IMAT preparation course is likely the best price you’ll find. This offer combines high-quality teaching with affordability, allowing students to receive extensive, guided preparation for a competitive price.

Applying to study medicine in English in Italy can be a complex and stressful process for several reasons. Each phase of the application—from pre-enrollment and registration for the IMAT exam to securing a visa, obtaining necessary documents like the Certificate of Value, and finally enrolling in the university—comes with specific requirements, deadlines, and procedures. Every step in the application process has a different deadline. Missing even one of these can lead to delays or disqualification. We keep track of all deadlines, ensuring that no phase of the application is missed. Italian universities and government offices often have specific, sometimes complicated, administrative procedures. Non-Italian speakers may find it difficult to understand the bureaucratic requirements, which can lead to misunderstandings or missed steps.

The IMAT (International Medical Admissions Test) is a competitive exam that determines admission. Correct registration for the IMAT is critical, as is thorough preparation for the test. Many applicants find it challenging to navigate the IMAT registration portal and select the right test centers. We can complete the registration and offer resources to help students prepare for the IMAT.

Italian universities and regions offer various scholarships, but applying for them requires careful documentation of income and often involves strict criteria. We can guide you in choosing and applying for scholarships, increasing the chances of securing financial assistance.

We take over the entire application process, reducing the stress and uncertainty for students and their families. By having professionals handle the details, applicants can focus on preparing for the IMAT and getting ready for their studies rather than worrying about paperwork and deadlines.
