For the study programs with courses taught in English or French. The evaluation of application files containing proof of the applicants’ academic performance and personal achievements for citizens of the European Union, the EEA, the Swiss Confederation and third countries. Applicants shall be accepted for enrolment preferentially, based on their fulfillment of the following evaluation criteria, as case may be:

• Scores for specific subjects: biology, chemistry, physics

• Studies related to the medical profession (graduated or partial)

• Extracurricular activities

• Letters of recommendation

Admission Calendar 2026

The application evaluation process will take place over two sessions between April and July 2026:

• First session: only for citizens of EU, EEA, the Swiss Confederation, or third countries (non-EU) who have passed their baccalaureate/graduation exams with final results in previous years.

• Second session: is open for citizens of EU, EEA, the Swiss Confederation, or third countries (non-EU) who have passed their baccalaureate/graduation exams with final results in 2026.

Applicants whose files were evaluated but not accepted in Session I will remain in the competition for Session II, without having to pay an additional file processing fee.

Proof of English/French

English or French language proficiency is demonstrated in one of the following ways:

• By providing an internationally recognized language certificate

• A high school diploma issued by a school where English or French was the medium of instruction

Application procedure

Applicants who are eligible to apply to these programs can be citizens belonging to the European Union, to the European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein), to the Swiss Confederation and also other non-EU countries. The assessment of the candidates will be carried out by an Admission Board appointed by the Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

The Early Admission procedure will cover the following stages:

1.      assessment of the personal statement

2.      assessment of the applicant’s former activities prior to the submission of the application (high school grades, extracurricular activities)

3.      a Skype interview for each applicant, which will be scheduled and announced in time. The purpose of the interview is the evaluation of the compatibility with the medical profession and the English proficiency.

Applicants who choose to study in English can only benefit from tuition fee places.

EARLY ADMISSION: Applicants may be provisionally admitted prior to receipt of their high school diploma.

The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice biology questions. To help you prepare for this entrance exam, we will provide you with 500 questions with the correct answers so that you can prepare for this exam without any problems.

• For the candidates from the non- European Union, the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation the admission is based on the evaluation of application files containing proof of the applicants’ academic performance: grades in two subjects: biology and chemistry.

• June 24, 2026: publication of the final list of admitted candidates (after evaluation and interview)
